Progressio – People Powered Development We send development workers and young adult volunteers to work alongside grassroots organisations in developing countries. We also support poor people in their calls for policy change – addressing the barriers that are keeping them poor

What is International Citizen Service? ICS is a UK government funded development programme that brings together young people to make a difference in some of the poorest communities around the world

Objectives of ICS To have a positive development impact on communities around the world. Personal development: To develop volunteers’ skills and confidence To engage volunteers as active global citizens on their return

Progressio ICS o 10 weeks volunteering overseas o For 18 – 25 year olds o No previous experience needed, just commitment o Team based o Volunteer with local community organisation o Work alongside local volunteers o Online application and assessment day in London o Departures throughout the year o Action at Home
