Professional Tourism Education Ministry of Tourism Apart from the Ministry of Education, professional tourism education and vocational training is also provided by the Ministry of Tourism. Under the supervision of the Ministry of Tourism operate: 1. Vocational Schools 2. Institutes for Vocational Training 3. Advanced Schools of Tourism Education

Graduates of the ASTER & ASTEAN are prepared for advanced executive posts in the hospitality industry. They have the same professional rights as the graduates of the Technological Education Institutes (TEI), specialization Tourism Management of the Ministry of Education (they have recently been merged in the departments of Management) In reality, the curriculums between the ASTER & ASTEAN (Ministry of Tourism) and the Departments of Tourism Management of TEI (Ministry of Education) have a lot of similarities. Advanced Schools of Tourism Education Graduates of ASTER & ASTEAN have the right to subscribe to the 6 th semester of TEI and get a degree from a third-level Institution.
