29 July Open the Controllers Setup Window Click the Setup System tool bar button OR Select the Setup > System pull-down menu option
29 July Setup System Controllers Window Displays controller information Allows you to set controller configuration parameters
29 July Auto Configuration Polls the access control network for all installed controllers, and displays configuration information Click the button, and after a short delay, the status of all communicating controllers is displayed
29 July Set Controller Time Click the button to set the day, date, and time of all controllers to match that of the host computer
29 July Set Time/Date Confirmation Once the time and date on all controllers has been set, a confirmation window appears, displaying the new network time and date.
29 July Controller Address and Type Controller Address – displays the address set on each controller (C001 is the Master Controller) Type – displays the model of each controller
29 July User and Event Capacity Lists the user enrollment capacity for each controller Displays the number of events the controller can store before its event buffer is full
29 July Dialout Enable Allows you to configure a controller to dial out to the host computer and upload its event buffer when the buffer approaches some percentage of being full –Click the ON button to enable controller dialout
29 July Threshold Percent Allows you to set how full the event buffer must be before dialing out to the host computer –The default value is 80%
29 July Local APB Allows you to enable anti-passback on a controller- by-controller basis –Click the ON button to enable local anti-passback
29 July Wiegand Reader Type Allows you to identify the type of LED control the Wiegand reader requires (three possible) –Single Line for a reader with one line/wire control for the LED –Dual Line for a reader with two line/wire control for the LED –Essex Keypad which annunciates its state via two separate LEDs
29 July Saving a Controller Configuration Change Changes must be saved or they will be lost when the option window is closed –Click the button to save the change
