DEMOCRATREPUBLICANWHERE I FALL “The Democratic Party strongly and unequivocally supports Roe v. Wade and a woman’s right to make decisions regarding her pregnancy, including a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay.” – believe in abortion “We oppose using public revenues to promote or perform abortion or fund organizations which perform or advocate it and will not fund or subsidize healthcare which includes abortion coverage.” – do not support abortion. I fall somewhere in-between the two in this case. I do not support abortion in the case of self interest, but in the medical threat to the baby I can understand an abortion. However I believe the government should mot pay for recreational abortions. “We support marriage equality and support the movement to secure equal treatment under law for same-sex couples... We support the full repeal of the so-called Defense of Marriage Act and the passage of the Respect for Marriage Act.”- support same sex marriage “Congressional Republicans took the lead in enacting the Defense of Marriage Act, affirming the right of States and the federal government not to recognize same-sex relationships licensed in other jurisdictions …We reaffirm our support for a Constitutional amendment defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman.” – supports traditional marriages I side with republican views on marriage. Marriage Is the unity of one man and one women. “Mitt Romney and the Republican Party would repeal health reform... No law is perfect...but we are committed to moving forward... The Affordable Care Act is not the end of efforts to improve health care for all Americans.” –health care should be provided for everyone by the government. “We support the ability of all organizations to provide, purchase, or enroll in healthcare coverage consistent with their religious, moral or ethical convictions without discrimination or penalty.” –health care is a choice I side republican when it comes to health care. It is not the governments responsibility to take care of everyone medical needs. However, yes I agree that everyone should have access to medical insurance. “We believe that the right to own firearms is subject to reasonable regulation… We can work together to enact commonsense improvements – like reinstating the assault weapons ban and closing the gun show loophole.” – does not support guns. “We uphold the right of individuals to keep and bear arms... We acknowledge, support, and defend the law-abiding citizen’s Godgiven right of self-defense...This also includes the right to obtain and store ammunition without registration.” – common citizens should be able to have guns I side democrat with the regulation of guns. I think not just and person should be able to have a gun without rime or reason. “President Obama will extend key tax relief for working families and those paying for college, while asking the wealthiest and corporations to pay their fair share.”-support heavy taxes “We propose to: [Extend] the Bush tax cuts...reform the tax code…eliminate the taxes on interest, dividends, and capital gains altogether for lower and middle-income taxpayers; End the Death Tax; and Repeal the Alternative Minimum Tax.” – support low taxes I side republican, supporting low taxes. Middle class citizens who work hard for their money should be able to keep more of the money they make.

DemocratRepublicanWhere I fall Support a decrease in military spending. Support an increase in military spending I support in an increase in military spending. Military men should be financially taken care of. While support for the death penalty is strong among Democrats, opponents of the death penalty are a substantial fraction of the Democratic base. A large majority of Republicans support the death penalty. The death penalty should reflect the golden rule. I support the death penalty. Social and human ideas-Based on community and social responsibility Social and human ideas-Based on individual rights and justice I do believe in individual rights and justice but I also believe in unity and a since of strong community. Democrats use a liberal philosophy Republicans use a conservative philosophy I have a conservative philosophy. A lot of liberals believe that illegal immigrants should be allowed to live here. Republicans believe that immigrants should be legal. Immigrants should be legal. Why should they receive the benefits from American tax dollars if they are not paying the taxes themselves.
