Welcome to the gallery site of Igor Levashov. Here I would like to share with you my love for flowers and painting. On this website you can find my most recent work and paintings that I made in previous years. I approach the painting of flowers more as portraying them than as just still-live-painting. I would like to keep you updated and share my future work with you. I was born and raised in the vicinities of Moscow and made my first steps in painting there. In 1979 I entered the Moscow Art School and finished it in Shortly after, I entered The Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after Surikov V.I. from which I graduated in I came to study at the Royal Art Academy in The Hague in the Netherlands in 1991 and graduated there in the year I settled down in the Netherlands to work and live with my wife and two children. Since 1998 my work has been represented in the U.S.
