Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessel C. HARSHA NA07B007 DEEP SUNDAR NA07B012
AHTS Offshore supply vessels specially designed to provide anchor handling and towage services for semi submersibles, platform jackets, barges and production modules/vessels. Some Anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels are equipped for fire fighting, rescue operations and oil recovery also. AHTS vessels range from small and compact vessels to large and powerful ships. ( 30mts to 100mts ) They can be fitted with the world’s largest advanced winches, providing tremendous pulling power for working at the deepest depths
Towage Services Anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels tow oil drilling rigs or jacket platforms to their location and back, behaving like an ordinary tug. For towing Anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels have very high power engines (~12000bhp) for an enhanced towing and anchor handling capacity. They have more power to increase the bollard pull. –*Sea Eagle 1* Modern vessels are capable of positioning and mooring drilling rigs in any location, at virtually any depth and under any conditions. – *TIDEWATER*
Anchor Handling Machinery is specifically designed for anchor handling operations. They have an open stern to allow the decking of anchors. They have arrangements for quick anchor release. Fitted with powerful winches for quick and effective anchor handling.
Other Secondary Uses Fire Fighting: Modern vessels are fitted with pumps that can spray water. Rescue Operations: They have a large deck area and exhibit good stability suitable for rescue operations. Sea Eagle 1 can carry a maximum weight of 2,300t without submerging. Oil Recovery: Modern vessels are fitted with suction pumps that can be used to clean in case of oil spills.
