Once you are into Photoshop click on file and then select open. When the dialogue box pops up select the image that you want to alter.
After the image that you have selected is up on the screen, you then go into filter and click on the oil paint option
By adjusting the brush option stylisation, you can choose the type of oil painting to be edited into your image.
The cleanliness option determines whether the oil painted lines are rough or smooth. 1=rough lines10=smooth lines
The scale option changes whether the lines on the image are long or short and changes direction of the lines as well.
The bristle detail either makes the lines from the painting very smooth and blurry or very sharp and visible. 1=visible lines 10=blurry lines
The angular direction option creates different pathways for the lighting and brush lines to come and go from.
Shine makes the image either have soft outlines or have very rough and sharp outlines and details. 1=soft outlines10=sharp outlines
Once you are finished and happy with your final product of the image then click OK to exit and save your work.
