Manga Translation 1.What's it like? a)Get a script/book/storyboard, type translation out in excel, work gets checked by agent, no or little contact with the creators.

Anime Translation 1.What's it like? a)Get a script with Japanese in one column and a space for English in another. Translate. Get checked by agent. b)In-house difference: Ability to work with subtitlers to cut unecessary words, get to watch the finished product (for syncronization)

Video Game Localization 1. What is Localization? a. Localization is a type of translation used for video games, websites, and software. It means that the language is translated but the content of the message is also adapted to the target audience. 2.What does that mean? a. It means that you have to know what your end-users know. Otherwise you get translations like "jelly donut" for "onigiri". 3.What's it like? a.Get a script, translate it. b.In-house difference: ADR writing, get to work with content team/voice team for better localization, play testing
