The Christian’s life of repentance is a life that “bears fruit” worthy of the gospel.
A Life of Repentance The problem of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Matt. 3:7-10 They thought they could rely on “lineage” tied to Abraham as their means of salvation. Some today rely on what church they belong to as their ticket punched to heaven. Such is a dead/lazy life but a life worthy of repentance means “bearing fruit.” Jas. 2:26
What Kind of Fruit?

Increasing in These Fruitful Qualities We live like Jesus: our lifestyle shows to “abide” in Him. John 15:1-7 If we abide in Jesus we will bear much fruit. Matthew 13:23; John 15:5 We glorify God; and prove to be disciples of Jesus. John 15:8
