Location You can find rainforests near the equator. The Tropical of Cancer is 23.5° N latitude. The Tropical of Capricorn is 23.5°S latitude. There are rainforests in Africa, Central America and Indo. This map shows the Tropical of Capricorn and the Tropical of Cancer.

Animals Chimpanzees-a chimpanzee’s sharp canine teeth come in handy in a variety of ways. Like when putting on a threatening display to intimidate others.
