Helping St Mary’s Parishioners Unlock The Treasures of our Catholic Faith Adult Faith Affirmation Ministry

Mission “Our mission is to better understand our Catholic faith so as to more fully live our lives in Christ.”

Vision “Our vision is to provide all adults the opportunity to further understand and affirm their faith through the study of Holy Scripture, Holy Tradition, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the Sacraments, the Church Fathers, and Church History.

Responsibilities  To create a climate conducive to adult faith affirmation.  To motivate adults to grow in faith.  To provide varied catechetical opportunities.  To select resources faithful to the Church’s teachings.  To promote the use of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

Responsibilities  To recommend a schedule for programs.  To promote and publicize programs.  To call forth parishioners to offer their talents to lead programs.  To evaluate ongoing programs.  To identify and select new programs.
