Introduction Mock Test 4 has been created on the pattern of Common Law Admission Test. This test represents the exact level of difficulty both in terms of question type and level. The test has five sections with a total of 200 questions. A student is expected to attempt this test in 120 minutes in actual test like environment. ENGLISH This section was a combination of questions that tested comprehension ability, grammar and vocabulary. Overall, the section was of moderate level of difficulty. All the questions should have been attempted as the options were based on the details that could be easily inferred from the passage. 11 to 15 Foreign Language phrases - meaning Moderate At least three out of the five questions should have been attempted. 16 to 20 Idioms - Meaning Moderate - Difficult These questions were of a moderate level, given that the idioms were used in sentences and one could have inferred the meaning from the context. At least three of the five questions should have been attempted.
21 & 25 Vocabulary - Synonyms Easy These questions were easy and all five should have been attempted. 26 to 35 Fill in the blanks Moderate These ten questions were moderate in difficulty. Around 7 to 8 questions could have been attempted. Q. 26, Q. 30 and Q. 34 were tougher than the other questions. 36 to 40 Parajumbles - 6 sentence type Difficult These questions were difficult. The best approach would have been to identify mandatory pairs. At least three out of the five questions should have been attempted.
General Knowledge This section contained mixed variety of questions from all genres covering national-international events, personalities, places, awards, history, geography, polity, economy and science & technology. Current affairs and static GK part were divided as: 22 Static GK questions 28 Current Affair questions Overall, the section was Moderate in difficulty level. More stress was laid on Current affairs than Static knowledge.

LEGAL Aptitude This section had 50 questions on Legal Aptitude comprising of both Legal Reasoning as well as Legal Knowledge: 30 questions on Legal Reasoning 20 questions on Legal Knowledge Overall, the section was of Moderate difficulty level. The section tested the ability of students to understand and interpret the legal language. At the same time, they were also expected to have some basic knowledge of the constitution and other legal developments around.
Details Legal Reasoning: The Legal Reasoning of Mock 4 was pretty manageable. Two subjects Torts and Contract dominated the major part of reasoning including but not limited to cluster questions. Few questions from constitutional law and one question from International law was also spotted in the mock. There were 6 questions from criminal law reasoning. A stalwart approach towards legal reasoning makes it a very scoring sub-section of the paper. Legal Knowledge: The Legal Knowledge part of mock 4 was a mixed bag. Few random questions on company law were spotted which required a little detailed understanding like how a company enters into a contract and what is the role of Registrar of Companies. Few questions were tricky such as question asking the court where maximum number of suits are pending and whether tort law is codified in India or not ?
