Letter from Mother of Oration Contestant Dear Sons of the American Revolution, As the parent of a contestant in your youth Joseph S. Rumbaugh Oratorical Contest I would like to thank you for many things. First, I would like to thank you for sponsoring the contest and inspiring young people to learn about history. My son, Eddie, has grown from the experience. Thank you also for your wonderful hospitality to the students and families in Louisville. Summary The SAR has a fine array of existing outreach programs. The Center for Advancing America’s Heritage will expand the opportunities for educational outreach. Every member, chapter, and state society should look for opportunities to increase participation. Please sign and return the card expressing approval of our programs so that we may show grass roots support to potential foundation donors.
