The Outreach School We extend the University of Wyoming to our state and the world, and bring the world to Wyoming.

As the Outreach School extends the reach of the University of Wyoming through our physical and virtual presence, we participate directly in improving individual lives. In the process, we help to connect individuals to our communities, the state, the global marketplace, and the marketplace of ideas:

Outreach Credit Programs In partnership with UW’s colleges and departments, delivers learning opportunities across the state, the nation, and the world. Offering over 35 UW degree and certificate programs through distance education technology. Delivery methods include: audio conferencing, video conferencing, online courses, hybrid delivery, and semester-based independent study.

University of Wyoming at Casper A unique partnership between UW and Casper College offering a small campus experience to students in Central Wyoming. Award-winning UW faculty based in Casper offering face-to-face instruction and distance education technology for additional UW course delivery. Participates in community service and student leadership activities in the Casper area.

UW Outreach Regional Centers Regional centers located on each Wyoming community college campus and in communities throughout the state. Academic coordinators and staff organize, supervise, and support distance education courses delivered to these facilities. Act as the face of UW in these communities and participate in local events and community service activities.

International Programs Office Supports the efforts of faculty, students, and staff, as well as partners throughout the state, to expand their global perspectives. Coordinates and manages UW travel grants. Coordinates and manages study abroad and international exchange opportunities. Offers international research, sabbatical, and travel support and assistance.

Outreach Technology Services & UWTV Provides technological support for the educational programs and services offered through the Outreach School. Division units include: University of Wyoming Television (UWTV), Outreach Video Network (OVN), Outreach Engineering, and Computer Support Services. UWTV is the only full-service production facility devoted to television production in the state of Wyoming. Utilizes and coordinates with other statewide video conferencing network systems operating throughout Wyoming and the world.

Wyoming Public Media Connects Wyoming through news and cultural programming that informs, inspires, and educates. Encourages listeners to be lifelong learners. Fosters participation in the development of communities, the nation, and the world. Reflects the Wyoming and American cultural heritage.
