Niagara Falls What & Where: Niagara Falls is actually three separate, massive waterfalls located on the Niagara River at the southern tip of Ontario, on the border between Canada and the United States: The Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls, and the smaller, adjacent Bridal Veil Falls. The crescent-shaped Horseshoe Falls is also known as the Canadian Falls as it is mostly in Canada. Why: The Falls are one of the truly natural wonders of the world. The sight and thunderous sound of the cascading waters are mesmerizing and the mystic power of the falls will always stay with you.
