WHEN? WHERE?  DECEMBER 27-JANUARY 12  5 NIGHTS BAY OF NAPLES  10 NIGHTS ROME

DOING WHAT???  Living la dolce vita (“the good life”)  Seeing tons of wonderful Italian things, ancient and modern  Eating lots of great Italian food  Staying in comfortable accommodations near Naples and in Rome  Taking a 3 credit class for UB credit with Professor Bradley Ault  Class (CL 410) will satisfy Gen Ed requirements  No language experience necessary!

THE CLASS  Classics 410: Special Topics – Study Abroad. We will study the rich excavations in the areas of Rome and Naples, visiting sites and exploring museums.  The class will be part of the 2014 Winter Session. Most of the work will take place during the trip, with a final written assignment due at the end of the Winter Session, on Jan. 24, 2014.

COST!  $3700 program fee + airfare  Program fee includes all room & board, all ground transport, all museum and site fees.  All costs aside from airfare will be part of Spring term tuition bill, and, thus, payable as part of Spring UB bill arrangements.  We recommend $300-$500 spending money.  Granted, cost is significant, but comparable trips at other universities are in this same range, or even higher.
