The number of trees that are being chopped down every year is around 3 billion up to 6 billion! Once the trees have been chopped down the space is used for farming.

This shows how amazing rain forests are! This shows the bad effects that deforestation has on the rain forest.

This rain forest is just about finished. Once all the trees are down they can start to use the space for farming.

What the land looks like when its being used for farming This is a forest that is being cleared for cattle farming. Rain forest

The effect of deforestation is soil erosion landslides and flooding. Deforestation is also bad for the animals because it taking away there home.
