Read With Me: An early literacy solution 2 Set K-2 students on the path to reading proficiency. Prepare students for ongoing reading assessments through a library of leveled stories. Provide a fun and engaging way for students to practice reading by using the power of speech recognition. Support teachers with actionable data regarding student reading progress. Install from the Chrome Web Store and learn more at K12 Blueprint.Chrome Web StoreK12 Blueprint

How It Works—Students 1.Students choose from a list of engaging, illustrated short stories. 2.As students read the story out-loud, speech recognition technology analyzes their performance. 3.Read With Me provides instantaneous, meaningful feedback. 4.As students reading improves, new story levels are unlocked.

How It Works—Teachers 1.Teachers create and manage students accounts through the Teacher Dashboard. 2.As students complete stories, teachers are kept up-to-date on their accuracy and reading rate. 3.Teachers use the aggregated data to support student literacy development.

Classroom Solutions Read With Me is ideal for a range of student use scenarios: As a whole class activity—in a one to one environment, all students use Read With Me at the same time practicing reading at their independent reading levels As a literacy station—a small group of students use Read with Me while the teacher works with other students on other activities. As a home activity—students use Read With Me on home computers for extra literacy practice.

Win the Deal with Read With Me Read With Me is a one-of-a-kind app. Speech recognition and automatic aggregation of useful data make Read With Me a powerful partner for teachers. As a Chrome app, Read With Me is ideal for use on Chromebooks as well as any device running Google Chrome. An Android app version is coming soon. Normally costing $4.99 in the Chrome Web Store, Read With Me is available free of charge to any district purchasing over 500 devices.
