My name is Mrs. Alvarado. I have been teaching for 9 years. This is my 8 th year in Montana Vista Elementary as a computer teacher. I graduated from UTEP with a minor in Early Childhood. I have a technology applications EC-12 certification. I recently completed my master’s degree in Instructional Technology from Grand Canyon University. I LOVE to teach all there is about computers/technology. Everything intrigues me! Art, music, video, online tools, collaboration, etc. I have been married for 13 years and have been blessed with two boys. Edgar is 5 years old and Abel is 2 years and 9 months. About Me…

Enter and leave the computer lab quietly. Keep hands and feet to yourselves. Keep your hands off the computer until you receive daily instructions. Listen and follow directions at all times. Stay on task to achieve daily goals. Raise your hand before you speak. Respect the hardware and software. Always work quietly. Expectations

Please refrain from touching anyone else’s computer unless Mrs. Alvarado asks you to help someone. Food, drinks, and chewing gum are not allowed in the lab. Permission is required prior to printing. Expectations will be modified if needed. Expectations Continued

Verbal Warning 2nd Verbal Warning + Redirection 3rd Verbal Warning + No computer use for the entire class period Inform Homeroom Teacher Parent Contact Student will be sent to the office It is possible for student to not return to computer class for a while Consequences will be modified if needed Consequences

Students will receive a sticker at the end of the class in their behavior charts. If class behaves good for an entire six weeks with no warnings, I will bring you a special prize! Rewards

It contains the classroom expectations, consequences, and rewards. Please return to your classroom teacher as soon as possible. Good Citizen Contract
