Some GHFP-II Program Participants Tyneshia Powell (former intern) Interned in Capetown, South Africa Ms. Powell currently holds a BS in Biology/Pre-Med from North Carolina Central University. From this internship experience she gained a better knowledge of the global health field and all that it has to offer in reference to medicine, health care, and disease prevention in foreign countries and helped broaden her spectrum of options regarding where to practice medicine. She also became better acquainted with other people and cultures. LaToya Armstrong (current fellow) Policy Advisor Office of Strategic Planning, Budgeting and Operations/USAID, Washington, DC Ms. Armstrong conducts analyses and provides written inputs for annual reports and other Agency performance reporting requirements, provides analyses for Global Health planning and portfolio reviews, and assists in providing support for planning for the Global Health Bureau and its technical offices. Coite Manuel (current fellow) Senior Supply Chain Technical Advisor Office of Population and Reproductive Health/USAID, Washington, DC Mr. Manuel provides technical guidance and leadership for supply chain strengthening to USAID country missions, USAID/Washington, USAID’s implementing partners, in-country organizations and international partners.
