Every member of the family worked very hard. They work hours a day. They would not give up until they had the best for their family.

They had to Make sure that the crops were planted, harvested, stored, and shipped to markets.

The bosses usually bought their workers at an auction which then the people sold there became slaves.

They added more workers to do the hard labor so they didn’t have to.

Although most people worked on a plantation not every one did some people were also servants.

Auction- Public sale that sell random things to try and make you buy them.

Question number 1 What was the other job rather than a plantation worker?
