Women in Agriculture Play a significant role in recordkeeping Asked to organize a large amount of grain information during harvest Often document harvest information on paper or in homemade spreadsheets

Questions to Answer What is my average yield? How much grain have I taken a LDP on? What is my average LDP? What is my average sales price? How much grain have I forward contracted? How much grain have I feed to livestock? How much grain am I storing for each of my landlords?

Grain Inventory Management Manages and tracks grain inventories by: –Grain owner –Storage site The program records the following grain transactions: –Sales –Production –Transfers –Purchases –Fed to livestock –Loan Deficiency Payments –Forward pricing –Other price contracts –CCC loan transactions

Grain Transactions Stores grain transactions in a searchable database that allows you to:  Search for a specific grain transaction  Sort transactions by various fields and on many levels

Query the Database On what date did a transaction occur? What sales prices have I received? What LDP prices have I received? How many bushels were harvested from a certain field?
