CDL Commercial Driver License

Types of CDL There are three types of CDL classes the C class, B class, A class. A class: can drive tractor trailers and anything in class B or C. B Class: Trucks with passenger 16 at most and can not drive tractor trailers. Can drive C class. C class: Any bus or vehicle used for hire to transport eight to 15 passengers.

How To Get it In order to get your CDL you need to have had you regular license for at least three years. You need to apply for a permit take the knowledge and road test as recommended. There is a class for class A CDL and it costs $4,500.

Why do I want it? I want my CDL because I want to drive tractor trailers for a living.
