This book is about wild west legends. They include: Jesse James Annie Oakley (Phoebe Anne Moses) Billy the Kid (William Henry McCarty Jr.) Calamity Jane (Martha Jane Cannary) Buffalo Bill (William Frederick Cody) Wild Bill Hickok (James Butler Hickok)

 I recommend this book because it told me lots about the wild west. I learned a bunch of new things.

 Jesse James read news papers every day to see what they said about him.  Annie Oakley dressed like a man.  Billy the Kid escaped from prison.  Calamity Jane claimed she was married to Wild Bill Hickok.  Buffalo Bill rode for the Pony Express.  Wild Bill Hickok loved to play cards.
