RESULTS: PITTSBURGH, PA Model: 2 nd Math Class for 8 th Grade with Integrated Saturday School, Middle School, Identified as “At Risk”, % of Student at Proficient/Advanced in 5 th Grade = 12.3%

RESULTS: ATLANTA, GA Atlanta Public Schools – Middle School Implementation: Results measured for middle school student in 6 th grade and progressing to 7 th grade (longitudinal measurement) Students used Apangea as part of a second math class and home usage Sylvan had very low usage on Apangea. Post-Apangea

RESULTS: HOUSTON, TX Hogg Middle School, Houston, TX: 26 students determined “At Risk” for not passing 8 th grade Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) exam Students engaged in an intensive Apangea program for 6 weeks – 90 minute sessions, 4x per week 21 of 26 (80.8%) students passed the TAKS exam on the first administration Passing rate for school was 50.5%

RESULTS: GRAND PRAIRIE, TX Bill Arnold Middle School, Grand Prairie, TX 48 students utilized Apangea Learning Math 4.0 in 8 th grade for a 10 week Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) exam preparation class. In 7 th grade, 3 of these 48 (6.3%) students passed the TAKS exam In 8 th grade, of these same students: 29 of 48 (60.4%) students passed the TAKS exam on the first administration. In 8 th grade, of these same students: 35 of 48 (73.0%) students had passed the TAKS exam after the second administration. SPECIAL NOTE: Grand Prairies 9 Schools Spent 5424 hours doing math on weekends and evenings between 9/1/07 – 3/27/08
