Monochromatic colors Monochromatic is the use of one color. In a monochromatic color scheme you have to base the room off one color and use the hue of that color. Hue means a variety of one color.

Color schemes Monochromatic color scheme- when you design a room only using one color! Complimentary color scheme- colors that are opposite on the color wheel! Neutral color scheme- Black, white, and grey! Analogous color scheme- colors that have the same hue!

Colors and white B lack and white are classy, crisp, and clean colors! Purple and white are generally used in kids rooms! Blue and white can be “interpreted into a nautical theme.” Brown and white make a room more attractive and are cozy colors!

Colors and white continued Green and white are relaxing colors! Red and white are used to make checks and toile’s! Orange and white are costal colors and happy colors! White and white are soft colors! Tan and white are used when you don’t want to use dark colors!

More colors and white Pastels and white are so good together that you can use them in every room! Tan and white are used when you don’t want to use dark colors and when doing a nature based room!
