Objectives: At the end of this topic the students are expected to; Create a fast and efficient class record using MS Excel Practice the value of integrity and honesty in computing grades Apply and create a formula according to the required grading system

What are needed in creating a class record? Gather the following The list of students name The grading system The data (scores of the students from quiz, assignments, exams etc)

What to do now? Type the name of students by separating the last name, comma, First name and middle initial Note : always begin with the last name if encoding a name list

Create a table for calculating the grades

Create a skeleton of the class record

Encode the data (scores of the students)

Note: Always have a back up of your class record like saving online, save in CD-RW, flash drive or print the class record
