The Lesson Introduction: Display paintings of Robert Wyland Content Focus: Information about Robert Wyland Group analysis of Whaling Walls Explain mural to class Closing: Students work on group murals (into 2 nd day)

Objectives Students will be able to identify and explain Robert Wyland’s contribution to ocean conservation. Students will identify at least 3 different marine mammals and locate their geographic habitats. Given a mural topic and main focus, students will contribute to a class mural inspired by Wyland’s work.
