 Leverage existing networks and relationships  Greater range and quality of academic and social emotional resources to surround and support students and families  Ability to transition into and out of an alternative setting and into mainstream 4

Beginning July 1, 2014, schools must provide any student who is suspended from school with educational services that allows them to make academic progress while suspended. *For a detailed overview of the changes, please go to: apter222 apter222 5
