A record needs to be understood. Why was it created? What can be expected?

 nFS is a compiled record. It contains information from primary and secondary records  Information from Church records have been extracted into nFS  Information from Church extraction records have been entered into nFS  Information from patron submissions to AF & PRF have been added to nFS  nFS is a collection of records that need individuals to organize

 Where did the information come from?  Who created the record?  What was the purpose of the record ?  How was the information obtained?

 Would you expect to see your spouse on your birth record?  What might you find on a birth record?  What was the purpose for creating the record?  Where would the information on a birth record come from?

 New FamilySearch was made to simplify the process of submitting names of the Deceased for temple ordinances  Not created for living information  Collaboration  To cooperate and help each other

 Is your life complete with only your birth record?  Why not?  Can I quit with your marriage license?  Why not?  Can I quit with just my direct line ancestor? (I don’t need his siblings, do I?)  You mean we seal complete families?  Can I run to the temple as soon as I find one record?
