Chapter 1 Phonetics and Phonology

Phonetics Phonetics is the study of physical properties of speech sounds which are used in language to convey meaning. Phonetics also deals with how different sounds are created and how those sounds change in different environments

Articulatory Phonetics Is the study of how human beings produce sound.
