Concept Technologies Sdn Bhd Concept Technologies Sdn Bhd is a global provider of Chemical Maintenance Service, Advance Chemical Maintenance Solution, Industrial Wastewater / Sludge Management, Specialty Chemical At Concept Technologies Sdn Bhd we strive to gain a more comprehensive understanding of our customers’ needs. Our customers in turn rely on our technical expertise to improve their production efficiency, lower maintenance cost, and offer environmental friendly solutions.

Some of the Dry-Ice Blasting Users

What is Dry-Ice Dry ice, at -78.6°C, is an excellent, lightweight, non- mechanical, non-wetting cooling agent made by taking liquid carbon dioxide from a pressurized storage tank. Expanding it at ambient pressure to produce snow. The snow is then compressed with a die to make hard pellets. It has nearly twice the cooling power of water ice by weight and three times by volume. To be used for Dry-Ice Blasting

Dry-Ice Blasting Latest Technology

What is Dry-Ice Blasting Dry ice blasting is a new cleaning process using solid CO2 pellets (convert directly from a solid blast pellet to a vapor) With the dry ice blasting process, CO2 particles are propelled at supersonic speed, impacting and thus cleaning a given surface The particles are accelerated by compressed air, just as with other blasting methods.

Paint Removal (paint & printing industries) Rubber and plastic mould cleaning (even when the mould is still in hot condition) (manufacturing, moulding, rubber industries) Production machine & production line cleaning & maintenance ( manufacturing, pharmaceutical industries) Carbon removal, glue removal, rust removal, oil removal, grease removal Mixer and machinery cleaning (Bakeries & food industries) Injection moulding, Blow moulding & Compression moulding cleaning (Automotive industries) Die-casting Electrical – Live electrical switchgear Dry-Ice Blasting can be used for

Benefits Of Dry Ice Blasting Technology Decreased downtime through cleaning in-place, labor necessity for disassembly, transport of the equipment to and from the designated cleaning area, can be cleaned in-place and hot in most situations and reduce cleaning time Dry ice blasting provides a superior cleansing in less time than scrubbing with abrasive pads or wire brushes, no chemical needed Elimination of equipment damage, Dry ice is non-abrasive and does not change a surface’s structure Reductions in waste disposal because dry ice pellets vaporize upon contact, this alone can result in significant waste and cost reduction non-secondary waste disposal Increased safety. Dry ice blasting pellets are non-toxic and non- hazardous, which benefits the environment and eliminates the risk of contamination for employees, end products and equipment

Cleaning Method Comparison IssueTraditionalDry-Ice Blasting Equipment Downtime Cleaned in dedicated cleaning area; Disassembly / reassembly; Drying time required Equipment can be cleaned in place; Dry process-equipment restart immediately after cleaning Hazardous Waste Intensive hand scrubbing; Lengthy cleaning; Follow-up cleaning-up can be lengthy Dramatically reduced-often completed in a quarter of time or less Quality Cleaning Poor to averageExcellent Equipment Damage Grit abrasions; Grit contamination; movement of equipment to and from cleaning area No equipment damage; Preventive maintenance very realistic as labour hours are significantly reduced Safety Health treats from solvents; Water based cleaning pose hazards around electrical equipment Standard safety precautions; Dry process-safe around electrical equipment Cost Cleaner becomes additional hazardous waste; Expensive solvents; Additional labour Minimal - Cost of Dry-Ice

These materials are then classified as toxic waste requiring safe disposal along with the removed contaminates

TRIBLAST – 2 User-friendly control panel easy to use Single hose - light and easy to use Supersonic speed Low weight and compact easy to transport and move around Large, insulated hopper - Fewer refills Adjustable blast pressure from 2-16 bar - Variable dry-ice feed rate Better economy Fine-tune cleaning aggression Choice of airlock plates Maximise range of dry ice flow rates from 10 to 200 kg per hour (supplied standard with kg/hr airlock plate)

Operates with 1.7 to 4 mm pellets Recommended 2.2 mm pellet maximises the..cleaning effect Fully enclosed stainless steel cabinet Protects the dry-ice feed system from dust and water Robust and easy to clean Light weight blast gun with safety system to eliminate accidental start Choice of blast hose The flexible: Silicone hose The industrial: Teflon hose The economical: PVC Nitril hose - New revolutionary modular nozzle program Gives unlimited number of combinations to optimize blast performance TRIBLAST – 2
