Checklist Things to remember when you book a cruise: Don’t book air through the cruiseline, do it separately Have your clients arrive the day before a cruise. Book them into a hotel, preferable one that has complimentary transportation to the port in the morning (and the hotel should be more commission!) Don’t schedule their departure flight for earlier than noon on debarkation Ask them what dining they want (the options depend on the cruiseline but are typically Early, Late, and Anytime…verify the options before you ask! Ask if they want to prepay gratuities, it makes it easier once onboard. Each cruiseline is a different price for gratuity so find out the amount before you ask the client! Give them a list of “tips” (ask one of us for tips specific to each cruiseline or ship!) If you want to get to know a cruiseline, read Lots of reviews, tons of opinions, but don’t send your clients there, it will scare them!
