How do Fossils Form? By: Colinda

Fossils fossil  the remains (or an impression) of a plant or animal that existed in a past geological age and that has been excavated from the soil

Steps: Living organism–ex. Dinosaurs Die Decay Covered by some type of soil Exposed to types of climate changes Lots of time Found by a Paleontologist Excavated

Summary: Animals and plants can be fossilized after they die, decay and are buried. They are left over time in the rock to be dug-up and studied by scientists. We learn how we can survive by adapting to changes that our plant is subject to.
