Ecopark

What is an eco-park? Hong Kong currently recycles 40% of its municipal solid waste (MSW) over 90% of recovered recyclable materials are exported less than 10% are treated locally and re-manufactured into useful products. to promote the local recycling industry to provide a sustainable solution to our waste problems to realize the full potential of the local recycling industry to alleviate the heavy reliance on the export of recyclable materials recovered from Hong Kong.

Integrated Waste Management Facilities Tsang Tsui / West New Territories Due to the saturation of land fills Comparative advantages of incineration over landfill A controversial issue: air pollution problems

Other measures of waste management Legislation Construction Waste Disposal Charging Scheme $125/tonne
