Get Organized  Time management skills help balance academic, work, and social events  Create a schedule each week that accounts for all activities  Plan tow hours of study time for each one hour of class time

Listen Actively  Sit in the front row to focus attention Do not tolerate distractions  Make mental summaries of material  Be prepared for class Review notes from book, previous class Preview material to be covered that day

Excel on Exams  Review test material throughout week Cramming for exams is ineffective  Facts remain only in short-term memory  Review entire test before answering Start with the material you know  Think positively and stay focused
