Simms’ Park Re-loaded Dace Steinke, Layton Rohrer, Sabia Reiche, Branden Bulik-Chism Geometric Construction
Plan Our plan is to make the playground a fun and safe experience. Get everybody at any age to have fun and get outside.
Layout ●On the North side of the park, right past the tree line in the middle, we want to place a band shell that is able to overlook the whole park. This will provide shade for over-lookers, parents, etc. ○to the right of the band shell the “shire” will be placed. This is for the younger children, it will be placed there so parents have quicker access to their little little ones if they get hurt. ○to the left of the band shell will be the 100 ft zip line ○in front of the band shell a few “in memory of” benches and picnic tables will be placed. ●To the right of the Zip Line will be the Zip Slide and the Trapeze Rack for the older children. ●On the West side of the park, a little past the tree line will be the T-Swing and Double Bay Swings ●On the East side of the park will be the fitness area with the sundance work out equipment ○Also on the East side there will be some more “in memory of” benches and picnic tables along with two barbecues.
