Ako practical example

Introductory Ako provides the possibility to calculate glass thickness of lineal stored glazing with safety-barrier function.

1. Aplication Window

2. Categories Choose the category of your glazing according to TRAV. Input menu opens where you can enter your project and start calculation and analysis.

3. Sample A

3.1 Sample A Enter Name and Position of you r construction. You can choose type of glazing At Geometry you can pick type of storage and building element. Choose of type of glass and thickness for inner and outer discs as well as distance of both discs when insulation glazing.

3.2 Sample A Simple Choice of dynamic pressure of installation height or Input of a default value. In this field enter appearing loads. Enter a horizontal uniform load for simple panes and the inner pane for insulation glazing.

3.3 Sample A Display of calculated internal loads with insulation glass. Input of special changes in temperature and air- pressure. Enter construction and installation or use standard values here.

3.4 Sample A Output shows whether a pendulum impact test has to be made, or if another proof is possible. Output of result.
