Hebrews 12: 1-13

Just Like Jesus – An Enduring Heart Runners strip down to minimum weight. Avoid entanglements, use tactics to race. All of Heb. 11 faithful running their races. We all experience things that weigh us down. Many fears and kinds of lack of faith? Great encouragement, no matter what… … look to Savior and Lord Jesus Christ! He “did not consider equality with God something to be grasped…” Phil. 2:6.

Just Like Jesus – An Enduring Heart Paul “press(es) on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of (him)” Phil 3:12 “But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Phil 3:13b-14 Paul wrote to Timothy, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”2 Tim 4:7

Just Like Jesus – An Enduring Heart We ran together in IA for over 5 years, now looking for a good long race together here! Max Lucado savors completing something… …and then eats (to celebrate a good ending). Jesus found the strength, he saw feast table. Fix our eyes on Jesus – word, worship, praise. Great ‘running’ with you to be Just Like Jesus! Trust God for endurance to run and finish with Jesus ‘at the right hand of the Father.’
