What Is This Patent? A controllable laser system can projects linear, elliptical, and circular image output. The size of projected image is also changeable.

How Did It Work? Has a laser light generator that provides a spot profile laser beam. Light scanning mirror is micro-electronic mechanical system(MEMS) oscillating mirrors that can expand laser light in desired direction. The light scanning mirrors can be controlled by changing driving energy and move frequency. The driving energy and move frequency are controlled by the energy and frequency control module and set by the human-machine interface system.

Differences from Prior Arts It is a laser pointer system specially made for presentation purpose. Has a controllable output. The output can be linear, elliptical, circular pattern with changeable size. All parameters can be set using human-machine interface system. Can project any custom pattern with an additional custom plastic plate. More efficient than the previous diffractive design. The operation system is portable and easy to operate.

Commercialized? No commercialized product found online. Maybe because the prices of a light scanning mirror and the frequency and driving energy control system are too expensive for a presentation laser pointer. Most laser pointers achieve various shapes through different diffractive heads.
