UCAS Application process Early Application Window – 1 st September to 15 th October Predicted Grades – applications can only be screened using the information provided at the point of application References/Personal statement/Dates not available for interview
Admissions Tests 13 HEI’s require an admissions test UKCAT – UK Clinical Aptitude Test(12) Timed on-line non science test UK wide test centres from July until early October £65 - £80 registration fee BMAT - BioMedical Admissions Test (1) 2 hour hand written test with 3 sections: Section 1 - multiple choice testing aptitude and skills Section 2 - multiple choice testing scientific knowledge Section 3 - writing task choice of 4 essay questions Sat early November £44 - £75.50 registration fee takers/bmat/about-bmat/ takers/bmat/about-bmat/

UKCAT – thresholds determined by number passing the academic selection against capacity to interview 3. Interview = November/December, offers made in late December. Offers based purely on interview performance, no reference back to UCAS form. All offers are conditional on health screening & DBS
