SECURITY AND SHELTER ❏ Physical Security ❏ Protection from bad weather, noise, noise, extreme heat or cold. ❏ Psychological Security ❏ Comfortable environment. Use of plants, animals, rugs, pillows, etc. Pictured: Air conditioner, indoor plant, carpet

TASK INSTRUMENTALITY ❏ The way the environment helps us carry out the tasks needed to be accomplished. ❏ Pathways. ❏ Shelves and storage areas organized. ❏ Separate incompatible activities. ❏ Materials accessible to students.
