Sedimentary Rock Sedimentary rocks are made of sediments. Sedimentary rocks are cemented together. Sedimentary rocks are used for buildings,trim, monuments & park benches. The sediments are clay, silt, sand & gravel.

Igneous Rocks Rock that forms when melted rock materials hardens makes igneous rock. Sometimes magma makes it to the surface before hardening. Igneous rocks are melted magma.

Metamorphic rocks are formed by heat and presser from another rock. The minerals in Slate, which is a type of Metamorphic rock, are packed so tightly together that water cannot seep through. Certain types of coal are Metamorphic Rock. Metamorphic Rocks
