Training in Oil & Gas Production For BP Technical Interns

About your training  Purpose – To enhance your understanding of the oil and gas production industry.  Length of Course – Five days, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  16 Lessons using a PowerPoint overview, two training manuals, and field work.

About your course Training in Oil & Gas Production for BP Technical Interns is a five-day training course for personnel who have an understanding of industrial technology in general. However, it is anticipated that most of you have little or no experience in the oil and gas industry. Therefore, your 16 lessons will be basic, yet detailed and comprehensive.

About your manuals  The Lease Pumper’s Manual – This text book will be used as a reference and for reading assignments.  The HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Manual – This text book will also be used as a reference and for reading assignments.

About your instructor Jerry Hale  26 years in the upstream oil and gas industry.  Production, pipeline, drilling and well servicing.  College studies at Okmulgee Tech.  Production Instructor MOGTC.
