Downtown Phoenix campus The ASU The ASU is being constructed in direct response to student demand and input. Included in this project are state-of-the-art weight and fitness areas, including cardiovascular and strength equipment, and free weights. In addition, the ASU will feature three multi-purpose studios for group fitness and mind/body classes, a two-court gymnasium, a rooftop outdoor leisure pool and a multi-purpose area for student clubs to utilize. With classroom space for Exercise & Wellness on the second floor, the new facility will augment the existing YMCA services and will serve both ASU students and Y members. The new facilities will enhance recreation and wellness programming in fitness, intramurals, sport clubs, aquatics and drop-in play, which further engages students, builds community and supports healthy lifestyles. The building is planned to be a five-story, sustainable structure, with a minimum of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver certification. A section of the historic U.S. Post Office is being renovated to provide student engagement and meeting space for students enrolled in academic programs at the ASU Downtown Phoenix campus. The student activity space is adjacent to the public space and will provide opportunities for events and social gatherings. The renovation will include a social area, a large multi-purpose room, multiple conference rooms, a game room, and office space for student organizations. The student engagement space will increase student involvement through leadership and employment opportunities. Downtown Phoenix campus Expansion

The Polytechnic campus recreation facility is planned to be a two-story, sustainable structure, with a minimum of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver certification. This new facility will include two soccer fields, a softball field, a state-of-the-art weight and fitness area, including cardiovascular and strength equipment and free weights. Additionally, the new facility will house three multi-purpose studios for group fitness and mind/body classes. Other features include, a student sport and activity clubs area, a two- court sports gymnasium, a multi-activity gymnasium, two racquetball courts, expanded Health Services with a wellness area, and an outdoor leisure pool with lap lanes and locker room facilities. The new facilities will enhance recreation and wellness programming in fitness, intramurals, sport clubs, aquatics and drop-in play, which will further engage students, build community and support healthy lifestyles. This fall, 300 freshmen will reside in the new Innovation Academic Village housing facility at the ASU Polytechnic campus. The new three-story, 84,657-square-foot residence hall, will have two three-story residence wings, creating an environment where students of the same major and academic interests live together, interact with faculty members and have access to academic resources and student services. The two buildings will be linked by a one-story common area with a lobby, an information desk, administration offices, a community kitchen, two multipurpose rooms, group study rooms and a small engineering studio. Each wing features three student activity lounges – one on each floor for pool, gaming and table tennis. In addition, each floor of each wing will have a laundry area and two quiet study rooms. The hall is designed to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver specifications. Polytechnic campus Dining Facility The ASU Polytechnic dining facility, located near the Student Union offers a great environment for students to gather for meals, team projects and events. The new facility will accommodate up to 1,200 students and consist of a dining area with exterior seating on three sides, that will offer connections to the existing campus. In addition, the facility will have a small grocery store and café. The dining facility will be a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified silver building. Tempe campus Student Recreation Center The expansion of the Tempe Student Recreation Center will support healthy lifestyles, further engage students and build community through enhanced recreation and wellness programming in fitness, intramurals, sport clubs, aquatics and drop-in play. The enhanced facility is planned to be a two-story, sustainable structure, with a minimum of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver certification. Included in this project are an additional state-of-the-art weight and fitness area, including cardiovascular and strength equipment, and free weights; two multipurpose studios for group fitness classes and student sport/activity clubs; a three-court and a two-court gymnasium for sports and campus events; a multi-activity court (MAC) gymnasium; a wellness suite for massage, meditation, and other wellness programs and services. The expansion will also include the development of additional sport fields. Tempe campus Manzanita Hall The iconic Manzanita Hall, built in 1967, is a 215,000-square-foot student residential building. This residence hall has been in continuous use for over 40 years and will undergo a complete interior and exterior restoration. The project is planned to remove obsolete building infrastructure and update building systems and spaces. The renovated facility will accommodate 784 residents and 31 staff. This project will be delivered by American Campus Communities (ACC). Tempe campus Villas at Vista Del Sol Villas at Vista Del Sol is an expansion of the Vista Del Sol student housing development at the southern end of the Tempe campus. The Villas project replaces Ocotillo Hall and includes 400 beds in apartment and townhouse configurations. This project will be delivered by American Campus Communities (ACC). University Housing is committed to providing a residential experience for continuing students that complements their academic choices and supports their engagement in the broader ASU experience. West campus Student Recreation Center The West campus recreation facility is planned to be a three story, sustainable structure, with a minimum of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver certification. This project will include, a 6-acre multipurpose field, redevelopment of an existing field as a green quad for campus activities, a weight and fitness area, two multipurpose studios for group fitness and mind/body classes and student sport/activity clubs. Other features include, a two-court gymnasium for sports and campus events, two racquetball courts, a wellness space and three alternative medicine studios, a pool with lap lanes and locker facilities, a bike co-op for bike rentals and repairs, and a 3-lane indoor running track with exterior exercise terraces. The new facilities will enhance recreation and wellness programming in fitness, intramurals, sport clubs, aquatics and drop-in play, which will further engage students, build community and support healthy lifestyles. West campus Casa de Oro Casa de Oro, a new 365-bed, 97,844-square-foot residential facility will be home to freshman and sophomore classes this fall. This new residential college community will double the number of students living on campus, creating an environment where students of the same major and academic interests live together, interact with faculty members and have access to academic resources and student services. Designed to be a hub for student residential life, Casa de Oro provides double occupancy suite-style units, including a social lounge, gaming lounge, study rooms, a community kitchen for programming use, laundry facilities, a business center and an interior landscaped courtyard. The hall is designed to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver specifications. West campus Dining Facility Just steps away from Casa de Oro, the dining facility, offers a great environment for students to gather for meals, team projects and events. The dining facility will accommodate up to 1,200 students and feature late night dining options, open and private dining areas, retail space, a student lounge, market style serving areas and a Jamba Juice. The building is designed to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver specifications.
