B2B applications Transactions or commercial activities between two businesses over internet Example: Purchase of raw material from a foreign company The turnover is much greater than that of B2C applications.
C2C applications Uses company or business as an intermediary. Examples: Ebay.com Autotrader.com
Mobile commerce applications Concern doing businesses by means of mobile wireless devices Have a growing importance in the future of e-commerce applications Has introduced completely new forms of electronic commerce E.g. E-tickets
