HEALTH & LITERACY Literacy Council of Wood County

 The Literacy Council of Wood County works with adult learners in the Wood County area to help them improve their reading, math, and English language skills.  We offer individualized programs with one- to-one tutoring, small group tutoring, and computer-based learning.

Literacy Council of Wood County Integrating health into adult education  Poor health interferes with the success of adult learners.  Low literacy and poor health are interrelated in a number of ways.  Health information and practical skills can be applied directly to adults’ lives and incorporated into daily decision-making.
