Test World results The test results of Test World are questionable at the temperature -8,5°C. Indeed the tests results are significantly different from the results at -8.1°C and from all the other values and cannot be explained. By removing this column, tests results in average are in line with the tests results of ADAC and show that Nordic tyres are performing the best, then the winter tyres followed by All Seasons tyres. ETRTO test results Test World testing results are based on one tyre size (205/55R16). The same size measured during the TI round robin test confirm the value of the ContiVickingContact compared to Test World results. Conclusions These tests performed by Test World, ADAC and ETRTO shows that the threshold of 107 is challenging and good enough to discriminate summer tyres from winter tyres which is the purpose of the new specification required in order to classify a tyre in the category of use “snow”.
