Student used textbooks

Student used textbooks Each semester, students buy multiple textbooks for their classes. They can either buy them new or used. If used, they might buy them from the campus bookstore, from another bookstore, or from other students who have used the textbook in their own classes. After using the textbook for a class, although they sometimes keep these books (either for a subsequent class or for their personal libraries), many students try to sell their used textbooks to other students. You want to run a company that helps students sell their used textbooks to other students. Your team will design a WEBSITE to support this company

Stakeholders and their needs? Who are the main stakeholders for this website, and what do they need it to do for them? –Which employees? –Which kinds of students? –Do you, the company owners have special needs? –Anyone else? For each different kind of stakeholder, write a detailed list of needs for the website’s functionality

Buy or build the website? Buy it –Buy it and customize it –Rent or lease it Build it –Build it yourself –Outsource the development

What will the website look like? Draw simple sketches for the design of at least four main pages for the website that take care of each of the stakeholders’ needs that you identified earlier

Event planning for small businesses

Event planning for small businesses Small businesses often have to organize special events for various reasons. For example, they might host networking events to connect their business partners with each other; hold mini-conferences to educate their clients; throw company parties to celebrate special times or at the end of the year; hold retreats to build their team together. Small businesses do not normally have the expertise to organize such events to a professional standard, so you want to help them by running a company that learns their needs and organizes the events for them. Your team will design a WEBSITE to support this company
