Facts About Recycling Recycling is the process of turning used products into raw materials that can be used to make new products. It’s purpose is to conserve natural resources including clean water and air.

Important Information Most communities in the United States and Canada have recycling programs,as do many other countries. In cities and suburbs, curbside recycling collection is common, people separate their recycling from their trash and set them out at the curb for collection. In smaller towns and rural areas, where people often must take their own trash to a local dump or other facility.recycling collection bins are provided at the same disposal site. To encourage recycling, some communities charge residents by the bag or can for trash collection, while offering free recycling.

Reasons to Recycle Recycling is fun and it’s good for our planet.

Think about it!
